This is a pretty straight forward item and there aren't many ways for it to tail. However, the absence of any BPA-Free status made me rethink my purchase the first time I poured boiling water into this plastic container. I'd rather stick with glass and be sure I wasn't drinking BPA right along with my coffee.

Great alternate for the glass beaker especially if you are clumsy! It fits perfectly, brews the same. Wash by hand as the dishwasher makes it cloudy. The screen scratches the inside as well. No matter, if it gets too bad I will order another.

The product replaced a glass beaker, but soon had many small cracks and now leaks. We pour water from a tea kettle into it and it it cannot handle boiling water. I am very disappointed.
